After several days working on porting gedit to windows I am proud to say that currently it is working. I made an installer so you can test it in an easy way.

Hi,

Will we be able to use plugins like Align soon on WIndows?

Thanks for all your hard work!

Thank you, you are doing great work! I am very much looking forward to seeing the python plugin loader working!

You mean python plugins? If so, we are having problems but I think they are gonna be fixed soon.

Thanks, i finaly can use gedit on windows. I'm so happy.
Would it be possible to get win64 binarys to?

For now I will focus on giving python support, maybe in a few months I'll create the win64 binary.

Hi, Is there a way to have the Snippet plugin into Gedit for Windows ?
I've installed last built, 2.25.6-1..
and I can't find the Snippet plugin in.. :(

Anyway, Thank you ;)

pygobject is not working in windows, so until that gets fixed I will not be able to build gedit with python support, so no, no snippet plugin for now. :(

Is pygobject still broken? I patiently await python plugins. Thanks.

yep, it is still broken but in the last week there was several improvements so I hope we are gonna have it working soon.
